Thanks for stopping by…

Am Santhosh Krishnamoorthy, from Bangalore. I love travelling and just adore the wilderness. An aspiring naturalist at heart, curiosity about nature and its inhabitants drives my passion and photography is a medium or tool for me to document the things that I observe, in the interest of learning more about them. This, here is my personal website where my share my experiences and learnings.

Holding a full time job in an IT company, photography remained a serious hobby for quite a while. And then one day it happened. As it is said, passion met profession and  I decided to take the leap of faith. After close to 15 years of working in the IT industry, I decided to change gears and joined hands to run a company, Birdwing, with my friend Kesava.  You can read more about me on my professional website here

At Birdwing, we conduct Photography Tours and Workshops aimed at providing a stepping stone for many new comers and amateurs into the world of photography, more specifically nature photography. You can explore more on the array of services that we offer here

Please feel free to browse through my image galleries here and read my photo stories and essays here.

    Hi Santhosh,
Your images and narration are quite compelling. There is a correlation between the two which at times lacks in some of the blogs I have gone through.Like your nature expedition, let your blog too flourish like the wilderness.

Thanks a lot Deepu… Very glad that you liked them.

Greetings Mr. Santosh. I am Subhash from IISc. Just now i came across your writeup about plant hoppers at jlrexplore.com. I felt really happy to see the narration and observations which I have also been doing. I wanted to inform you one detail. The egg shells which you actually see are not of Planthopper Nymphs. Those are by some other insects…. At present I am writing a project proposal to study this interaction.

Thank you Subash. Glad that you liked it. And, sorry about the error in there. That is very interesting and would be great to know more about what was going on actually. Will wait for your proposals then :-)
